The launch, which was previously thought to be held in October, may be shifted to later this year according to the latest developments.
Apple’s MacBook Pros with M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max processors are on the way: October launch date remains uncertain
Apple’s M4 SoC (system-on-a-chip) has previously received critical acclaim and has long been expected to be integrated into models such as the MacBook Pro. While Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says that the M4 series could appear in new MacBook Pros as early as this month, his most recent predictions suggest that the launch could be spread out over the course of this year. This, in turn, suggests that Apple’s October event may not happen.
Not only MacBook Pros, but also devices like the Mac Mini and 24-inch iMac will get new versions powered by M4 processors. The Mac Mini is rumored to get a more compact design and benefit from the efficiency advantages of the M4 chip. However, it remains unclear whether a larger 27- or 32-inch iMac version will follow.
On the other hand, we will have to wait a little longer for the release of MacBook Air, Mac Studio and Mac Pro models with M4 processors. These models are expected to be introduced by 2025, especially during the WWDC 25 event.
