The transition to this structure was made possible by reducing the size of the cameras by 30%, and the proximity sensor was moved under the screen.
The area around this gap expands in an animated manner to control applications running in the background, from music to navigation, creating a visually pleasing effect. Third-party apps will be able to take advantage of this feature in the coming days.
