Artificially intelligent partners are being used by many people. However, these robots, which are essentially no different from conversational AI assistants, are attempting to exploit our romantic needs by stealing our personal data. According to the latest research by Mozilla, it has been revealed that AI boyfriends and girlfriends store the data we share with them in their systems and sell it to third parties.

Like every content on the internet, these artificially intelligent robots are not actually free. Designed to generate income from our personal data, artificially intelligent partners, although marketed as a miraculous technology that will fix our psychology and save us from loneliness, don’t seem to be so. Some even claim that these robots manipulate us to share more information with them and thereby undermine our mental health.

Mozilla, which has conducted research on different AI partners such as Replika, Chai, Romantic AI, Soulmate, and CrushOn.AI, accused these applications of disregarding user privacy and revealed that they pose security risks.
