In today’s world, where security threats are on the rise, domestic and national communication systems hold critical importance. The 3810 Hybrid Hand Terminal, developed specifically for the police force, combines the functionality of a mobile phone and a radio in one device. This device meets the needs of critical service users by offering both narrowband radio features and broadband data capabilities.
Thanks to its dual SIM card support, it can be used on both mission-critical LTE networks and commercial GSM networks. Running on the Android operating system, the device offers a wide range of usage options with its 13 MP front and rear cameras, navigation, map, and messaging applications. Its durable structure and IP67 waterproof feature ensure uninterrupted communication even in challenging field conditions.
The 3700 Next-Generation Radios, produced for the Gendarmerie, are equipped with high sound output power, a color display, and built-in GPS to provide seamless communication in the field. The device is compatible with APCO25 standards and offers secure communication with the AES-256 encryption option.
Its user-friendly interface, various audio accessories, and optional smart battery options provide an effective solution against the challenges gendarmerie personnel may face in the field. Additionally, the devices are produced to withstand environmental conditions, complying with MIL STD 810 E, F, G standards.
ASELSAN’s Friend-Foe Identification System (IFF) plays a critical role in air defense operations. The IFF Interrogator Device with Mod 5/S features contributes to ensuring security in the airspace as a short-to-medium-range interrogator.
Compliant with STANAG 4193 Edition 3, it supports Mod 1, Mod 2, Mod 3/A, Mod C, Mod S, and encrypted Mod 5 modes. This allows it to work in coordination with primary sensors on the platform, identifying targets as friend or foe, enabling a secure operation.
The Portable Radio Link Communication System, which forms the backbone of the communication infrastructure, is designed to meet the operational needs of units in the tactical field. This system, a lightweight version of the Tactical Field Communication System, provides fast and secure information transfer between command centers and military units in the field.
The system offers a fully IP-based communication network, integrating voice, data, video, file transfer, and fax communication services. Under electronic protection measures (LPI/LPD, TRANSEC & COMSEC), this system provides encrypted communication, establishing an effective and secure command-control chain in the battlefield.
Another critical communication product from ASELSAN is the GRC-5220 Radio Link Device, capable of operating both within the line of sight (LOS) and beyond the line of sight (NLOS). This device, which can transmit data over distances of more than 100 km, supports 256 QAM modulation, allowing high-speed (200 Mbps full-duplex) Ethernet data transmission.
Based on OFDMA technology, this system securely facilitates the flow of information necessary between weapons, sensors, and command centers on the battlefield. With frequency-hopping capability and automatic power control, the GRC-5220 offers a resistant solution against electronic warfare countermeasures.
