Ubisoft continues to expand its legendary Assassin’s Creed franchise with more games. The company is currently working on two titles, Assassin’s Creed Red and Jade. These titles are expected to be released soon. However, according to the latest developments, the release date of the mobile Assassin’s Creed Jade game has been postponed. And why? Here are the details…
Assassin’s Creed Jade release date postponed until next year
The last game in the Assassin’s Creed series is Assassin’s Creed Mirage, released in 2023. Assassin’s Creed Jade will be followed by Assassin’s Creed Jade, which will be released for smartphones and tablets. This new game was expected to be released later this year.
According to the report shared by Reuters, the release of Assassin’s Creed Jade has been postponed to 2025, next year. The reason for this is that according to the information conveyed, the people in the team developing the game were transferred to different projects. When the new team will start working remains unclear for now.
Last August, gameplay footage of the new game was leaked. In 2022, access to the beta version was provided. Thus, it was revealed that Assassin’s Creed Jade would take players to China. Apart from this, Assassin’s Creed Red is also highly anticipated. It is known that the game, which will take place in feudal Japan, will have two main characters named Naoe and Yasuke.
