Ubisoft’s highly anticipated game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, aims to thrill players with brand-new details. Updated information on the game’s Steam page focuses on its first expansion pack, Claws of Awaji, which promises to enrich the story and gameplay with numerous new features. First Expansion for Assassin’s Creed Shadows Arrives in 2025
Scheduled for release in late 2025, Claws of Awaji takes players to a mysterious island filled with dangers, hidden treasures, and deadly traps. The expansion introduces the Bō, a traditional Japanese weapon, which adds a fresh layer to combat mechanics and encourages more strategic encounters with powerful foes.
Not only does the expansion provide new locations and weapons, but it also promises over 10 hours of additional gameplay. With a captivating narrative designed to deepen the story, Claws of Awaji is set to immerse players even further into the Assassin’s Creed Shadows universe. Moreover, those who preorder the game will gain access to a bonus mission called Thrown to the Dogs, available from the start.
Ubisoft has also announced the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game along with exclusive equipment and in-game perks. The Sekiryu Dual Pack offers unique weapon and gear sets for the game’s main characters, Naoe and Yasuke. Additionally, players will be able to customize their Shinobi League hideouts with the Sekiryu Hideout Pack and speed up their character progression with five mastery points included in this edition.
