The countdown for the launch of the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series has officially begun. According to reports so far, the smartphones are expected to feature flagship specifications and, like their predecessors, focus on gaming. The latest reports reveal that the ASUS ROG Phone 9 has broken a record in AnTuTu benchmark tests.
ASUS ROG Phone 9 Breaks AnTuTu Record
The ASUS ROG Phone 9, spotted in AnTuTu tests under the model number ASUSAI2501A, achieved remarkable scores in CPU, GPU, memory, and UX tests, with 661,243, 1,256,559, 672,974, and 530,614 points, respectively. Overall, it reached a total score of 3,121,390, marking the highest score ever recorded on AnTuTu.
As previously mentioned, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Built on a 3nm architecture, this chipset features 2x 4.32 GHz and 6x 3.53 GHz cores, along with an Adreno 830 GPU.
The device will feature 24GB LPDDR5x RAM, 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and Android 15 as its operating system. It will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a refresh rate of 185Hz.
Additionally, the phone will include a 50MP main camera with OIS support, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. On the front, there will be a 32MP selfie camera. It will be powered by a 5,800mAh battery supporting 65W charging.
