Audi has passed one of the most important milestones on its journey to participate in the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship: its official team name and logo have been unveiled, with the global launch scheduled for January 20, 2026 in Berlin. Following the name partnership announced in July 2025, the new team identity symbolizes a new phase in Audi’s Formula 1 presence, both technically and brand-wise. This structure, which combines Audi’s racing heritage with Revolut’s global financial technology leadership, forms a strategic foundation defining the team’s new era.
Revolut Partnership: The Strategic Foundation of the Team’s New Identity
The partnership with Revolut is positioned as a strategic cornerstone of the team’s identity. As a global leader in financial technology, Revolut shares Audi’s vision for innovation, performance, and reach to a wide multinational audience. This collaboration creates new touchpoints across a wide range of areas, from fan activations and race experiences to in-app benefits and global engagement strategies.
The partnership was also directly integrated into the core functions of the team’s operations. In this context, Revolut Business was included in the team’s financial processes, providing a more agile, transparent, and efficient financial infrastructure on a global scale. Furthermore, Revolut Pay was positioned as the payment solution for the team’s official online store, offering fans a fast, secure, and seamless shopping experience. These two structures demonstrate that the collaboration provides a strong integration not only at the communication or brand level, but also at the operational depth.
The Audi Revolut F1 Team will unveil its brand identity in its entirety for the first time at its global launch in Berlin. Highlighting the three core elements that make up the team’s brand architecture – simplicity, technical intelligence, and emotional impact – the event will also showcase the values shaping the team’s future Formula 1 presence. Following the launch, the doors will open to the public on January 21st, giving fans their first direct access to the team’s world.
One of the focal points of the Berlin launch will be the world premiere of the official racing livery the team will use in the 2026 season, following the Audi R26 Concept unveiled in November. With the countdown to the first race now less than 50 days away, the Audi Revolut F1 Team will reveal how its visual identity will impact the starting lineup and how Audi’s design principles will be reflected in Formula 1.
In line with the team’s organizational structure, Sauber Motorsport AG is being renamed Audi Motorsport AG. Furthermore, the Technology Centre in Bicester, UK, is being restructured as Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK. Audi has stated that, in respect of its heritage, the names Sauber Holding AG and Sauber Technologies AG will be retained.
