Audi’s electric vehicle dream was cut short!

Ana sayfa / Cars

As the demand for electric cars increases all over the world, automotive giants have shifted their investments to this market. Many manufacturers have even announced that they will soon produce only electric vehicles. Audi was one of these brands. However, it looks like Audi will continue to produce cars with internal combustion engines.

The electric automotive revolution that many predicted seems to have been left for another spring. Major automakers and even technology companies have recently reduced their electrification targets. Audi is one of the companies that have backtracked in this context.

The German automotive giant wanted to fully electrify its product range by 2026 as previously planned. However, it announced that it will continue to offer gasoline-powered models. This move follows decisions by Mercedes and Toyota to slow down their electrification schedules.

Mind-blowing! The storage size of GTA 6 has been revealed

Rockstar Games' forthcoming Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) game's file size has surfaced. So, how many gigabytes will GTA 6 occupy?

A similar news also came from Apple. It was stated that Apple, which has been investing for years to develop an electric car to rival Tesla, canceled this vehicle. More than 2,000 employees working on the project focused on artificial intelligence and automotive software.

Sources revealed that Apple could not sell the car for less than 100 thousand dollars. This pricing would prevent Apple from growing in the market.

Other automakers such as Ford, GM, Stellantis, Volvo and BMW have also scaled back their EV production targets in the face of huge financial losses. Ford, for example, reported a $4.5 billion loss from its Model e division last year alone. This equates to about 60 thousand dollars per electric vehicle sold.
