Among Us, which skyrocketed in popularity during the lockdowns of the COVID-19 era, had previously grabbed attention with its VR version. Now, the developers have announced that Among Us VR is getting a full 3D transformation and will soon be listed on Steam. Here are the details.
Among Us 3D to Be Listed on Steam Soon
Developed by Schell Games and Innersloth LLC, Among Us had a TV series adaptation announced last year. While there have been no updates about the series since then, a recent official post on X (formerly Twitter) confirmed that Among Us VR is now fully 3D.
The announcement, titled “Emergency Meeting,” showcased gameplay footage of the new version. While the core gameplay and tasks remain unchanged, the game now features an immersive first-person perspective in a fully 3D VR environment.
