Bad news from Samsung’s beta program for the next One UI update based on Android 15. Allegedly, the tech giant had to postpone the One UI 7 beta. It was stated that the software update encountered many optimization errors.
One UI 7 beta left to September
It was known that Samsung was planning to launch One UI 7 beta tests in August. However, it was claimed that the beta version was postponed to September. Samsung, which announced that it postponed the One UI 6.1.1 update indefinitely, has devoted its work to the One UI 6 family.
Samsung is also planning a wider release of One UI 6.1.1 before launching beta testing. However, the situation with One UI 6.1.1 remains unclear. Samsung has confirmed the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5. But it will only be released in certain countries.
Although no official announcement has been made by Samsung, it seems that the company is working on a fast new operating system update. According to Geekbench tests revealed today, Android 15 tests are being conducted for the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A73.
Since optimizing the beta update can be different for each device, these updates take quite a long time. Also, with the announcement of Galaxy AI features, these updates have started to reach larger sizes.
Given the delays in One UI 6.1.1, it makes sense that the new version will be delayed until September. Still, Samsung’s update roadmap remains uncertain
