Things continue to heat up in the world of artificial intelligence. Baidu, known as the Google of China, announced that it has made significant changes to its chat bot named Ernie. A new page will be opened with the Ernie 4.0 bot, which is claimed to turn one person into a whole team.

at Baidu World 2023, Ernie 4.0 was introduced as a competitor to the GPT-4 language model. Since its beta launch last September, it has experienced an overall performance increase of 30 percent.
It was stated that this performance increase will create an important turning point in basic artificial intelligence capabilities such as understanding, production, reasoning and memorization. Baidu CEO Robin Li, who performed test queries on the subject, aroused curiosity with his ability to understand complex queries.
It should be noted that the new model, unlike ChatGPT, has the ability to create different types of content such as images and videos. Ernie 4.0, which can change its responses in real time, will also power a wide range of AI-powered applications.
Among the tools to be used are applications such as Canva’s rival Qingduo. Baidu emphasized that it can be used in search, health analytics, workplace tools, maps and cloud storage. For example, Baidu Search provides interactive answers to questions, while Baidu assistant YunYiduo can summarize files by voice.
Baidu CTO Haifeng Wang stated that Ernie 4.0 is still in the testing phase. However, with this launch, the company has also threatened its competitors outside China.
