Famous actor Jake Gyllenhaal almost got the role of Batman in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. In a recent interview, Gyllenhaal expressed his thoughts on being a candidate for the role of Batman again.
Jake Gyllenhaal: I would be honored to play Batman
Robert Pattinson is currently Batman and he seems to be quite successful in the role. However, it is very likely that a different Batman actor will appear in the DC movie universe in the future.
At this point, Gyllenhaal is being considered as a potential candidate for a new Batman franchise. In addition to being nominated, Gyllenhaal answered the question “Would you like the role of Batman?” as “I would be honored”. Previously, reports emerged that he was a close choice for the lead role in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins.
Gyllenhaal’s acting career has been quite wide-ranging. He has successfully portrayed iconic characters such as Prince of Persia and Mysterio. Now he will star in a movie called Road House. This movie will be released on Amazon Prime Video on March 21st. Together with famous names like Daniela Melchior and Conor McGregor, Gyllenhaal aims to offer viewers an unforgettable experience.
