Battlefield 6 was a major hit for EA, breaking franchise records and becoming what the company called the best-selling shooter of 2025. Given that multiplayer is the game’s core appeal, anti-cheat measures became a major focus even before launch. Battlefield Studios has officially shared the impressive performance of its new Javelin anti-cheat technology since the game’s launch.

According to EA’s latest announcement, the Javelin anti-cheat system has blocked a total of 2.39 million cheat attempts since the game’s launch. This number exceeds the more than 367,000 blocked during launch weekend alone.

The company also released key statistics on its success. Accordingly, the probability of a player encountering a cheater in a match has decreased from 6.9% during the open beta to just 2% currently.

EA states that approximately 98% of all matches were fair and free of cheaters during the first week following launch. The anti-cheat team reports that the open beta process significantly contributed to improving their systems.

The company also announced positive results regarding Battlefield 6’s Secure Boot requirement on Windows. Initially met with criticism from both fans and developers, only 1.5% of Battlefield 6 players experienced problems enabling this security measure.

In addition to kicking, suspending, and banning active cheaters, EA also closely monitors numerous cheat providers. The company has observed that many of these communities are frustrated and unable to successfully use traditional cheating methods in Battlefield 6.

The anti-cheat team also outlined its future plans. These plans include adding more security options to the operating system, neutralizing cheaters who use certain hardware to gain an advantage, improving the player reporting system, and developing new anti-cheat methods for cheat developers.
