Baykar, a significant contributor to Turkey’s domestic defense industry projects, is now in the spotlight with a different production initiative. The company is signing new agreements to start production in the brother country, Azerbaijan. Here are the details of the collaboration agreement:

The mentioned contract is based on cooperation between Baykar and Azerbaijan. The agreement, signed by BAYKAR General Manager Haluk Bayraktar and Azerbaijani Deputy Defense Minister Aqil Qurbanov, will involve the production of domestic and national Baykar products in the brother country, Azerbaijan.
In a statement shared on the company’s official Twitter accounts regarding the matter, it was stated: “We have signed a ‘Cooperation Agreement for Joint Research, Development, and Production’ with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We wish the agreement to be auspicious.” The text was also published in three different languages: Turkish, Azerbaijani, and English.
No information has been provided regarding which products will be produced in Azerbaijan. However, it is reported that collaborations such as relocating the production line of an UAV or UCAV model or working on different technologies in Azerbaijan are on the agenda.
Finally, among the incoming information, it is stated that Baykar Technology will work on topics such as artificial intelligence, robotic systems, unmanned aerial-ground vehicle platforms, autonomous pilot, technician, and expert team training in Azerbaijan.
