The Bayraktar KIZILELMA, the nationally developed unmanned combat aircraft developed by Baykar, has successfully completed a critical step for the defense industry. KIZILELMA has completed its first tethered flight test using the ASELSAN-produced TOLUN munitions.

This test clearly demonstrated the aircraft’s munitions integration capability and the progress achieved in air-land integration. Images and information from the test were shared with the public by Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar and on the company’s official social media accounts.
Head of Defense Industries at the Presidency, Haluk Görgün, emphasized that this test was not merely a munitions integration test but also demonstrated the level of air-land integration capability achieved.
Görgün stated that the combination of TOLUN’s precision power and KIZILELMA’s high maneuverability will shape future combat doctrines.
TOLUN, classified as a Full-Line Guided Munition, stands out for its penetrating power and high-precision guidance system. The munition is deployed from airborne platforms via the Multi-Carrier-Screen Launcher (SADAK-4T).
This system allows an F-16 wing to mount four munition, neutralizing eight different targets in a single sortie. TOLUN is equipped with a GPS/INS guidance system and can hit targets at a range of 55 nautical miles, approximately 102 kilometers, with a deviation of less than 8 meters.
