There are only a few days left for Bethesda’s highly anticipated game Starfield. Although the production that will give players a space adventure has been in development for years, a new Elder Scrolls game is expected from Bethesda. A Bethesda executive made a statement for Elder Scrolls 6, which was first announced in 2018.
Bethesda boss says Elder Scrolls 6 entered the development
It’s been nearly five years since Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls 6 at E3 2018. In the meantime, apart from a short teaser trailer, there have been no details about the new game in the popular RPG series.
In a new interview, Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines made important statements about the game. According to Hines, the preliminary work for Elder Scrolls 6 has been completed and has finally entered the development phase.
Hines did not elaborate on what the game will be like. He said that all the company’s efforts are focused on Starfield and that they want to give the space adventure a smooth launch. Let us remind you that Starfield will be available on September 1st.
On the other hand, the Elder Scrolls 6 trailer released in 2018 gave a glimpse of the game’s map, Tamriel. Bethesda has not yet shared which region of Tamriel the game will take place in, what the story will include and the release date.
In Microsoft’s ongoing court filings with the FTC, it has been stated that Elder Scrolls 6 won’t be out for at least another five years. Considering that Skyrim was released in 2011, this means that there could be more than 15 years between the main games.
