The trailer gave a glimpse of the game’s atmosphere and gameplay, and the game’s resemblance to BioShock was exciting. While no specific release date was announced, the footage showed that Judas is currently in development for PS5, with plans to release on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
Ken Levine, creator of the BioShock series, is a master storyteller. This is evident in his work on System Shock 2, BioShock and BioShock Infinite. Therefore, the excitement for Judas is at a high level. The released trailer further fuels this expectation.
The game takes place in the fictional Mayflower, a space city where citizens are conditioned to turn on each other for minor infractions and machines control every aspect of life.
Players take on the role of Judas, the central figure in a mysterious story, navigating a world where decisions significantly affect the unfolding narrative. In the trailer, we follow Judas as he leads a revolution to dismantle a society that seeks to make him a model citizen.
Following the release of the trailer, Ken Levine said that Judas is a different take on the story-driven first-person shooter.
