New claims have emerged that FromSoftware and Sony may be developing a new project set in the Bloodborne universe. Leaks have revealed that Sony is working on an unannounced Project Bloodborne. This project will also be coming to PC.
Project Bloodborne revealed
It’s safe to say that the name Project Bloodborne is up in the air. Sources believe it could be a sequel or remake project. Given Bloodborne’s iconic status over the years and the fact that it hasn’t been available on PC until now, a remaster or PC version could make sense.
It’s been almost ten years since Bloodborne was released as a PS4 exclusive. In that time, no sequel or other new project has been announced. But while FromSoftware has developed other games, Bloodborne has its own dedicated player base.
Although FromSoftware has stated that they would be happy to open Bloodborne to a new audience, it is up to SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment), the owner of the brand, to make that decision.
A while ago, PS4 emulator shadPS4 shared footage of Bloodborne running on PC for the first time. However, when we say ‘running’, we should add that the game is not currently playable.
While discussions and expectations about Bloodborne coming to PC continue, gamers continue to look for alternatives. For now, it looks like PlayStation owners will continue to play the game on the original platform.
