BMW has announced a fully electric performance vehicle planned for release in 2026 or 2027. BMW M CEO Frank van Meel claims this car will surpass everything seen before. The new M3 will utilize BMW’s Neue Klasse platform and will be equipped with four electric motors, promising to push the boundaries of performance and power.

The electric vehicle will feature four electric motors that will work in harmony with a specially developed BMW software. Frank Weber, BMW’s head of engineering and R&D, mentioned that this system is capable of generating approximately 1,000 kW of power. The chassis and drivetrain components of the vehicle will be managed by a central control unit, ensuring highly precise and controllable driving dynamics.
