BtcTurk was hacked: Cyber attack targeted cryptocurrency wallets
BtcTurk teams took swift action following the cyber attack that took place on June 22, 2024. Only some of the balances in the hot wallets of 10 cryptocurrencies were affected in the attack, and most of the assets are kept safe in cold wallets. The security of cold wallets has once again shown its importance.
Since BtcTurk’s financial strength far exceeds the amounts affected by this attack, user assets will not be affected by these losses. BtcTurk teams are conducting detailed investigations and cooperating with the authorities.
