Samsung has accelerated its work for the new Galaxy A55 model that will appeal to the middle class. The device, which has been in development for a while, was last seen in Malaysia. The certificates received by the company revealed the main features and design of the Galaxy A55.
When is the Samsung Galaxy A55 coming?
Galaxy A55, which will be one of Samsung’s budget-friendly smartphones, has received certification from SIRIM, Malaysia’s national accreditation and certification body. Carrying the model number SM-A556E/DS, the device seems ready to be released.
The most striking detail in the leaked images is the metal frames. The metal frames used in Samsung’s flagships are also used in the Galaxy A55. The phone gets a more elegant design thanks to the brushed metal frames.
Previous leaks revealed that the Galaxy A55 will have a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the camera side, it is expected to include a 50 Megapixel main sensor and a 32 Megapixel selfie camera. It is possible that the rear setup will be triple.
The Galaxy A55 could be powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is said to be available in Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac and Awesome Navy Blue color options.
With certifications from various organizations, the official launch of the Galaxy A55 could be early next month. However, Samsung has yet to make an official announcement about the device, so the details are just rumors for now.
