Distribution is about to start for HyperOS, which Xiaomi has been showcasing in recent months. The new version comes with serious improvements compared to the MIUI interface and offers a more stable and efficient user experience. Recent reports suggest that the new build is coming to another affordable model.
HyperOS update for Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G coming soon
GSMChina reports that the affordable Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G will receive a HyperOS update based on Android 14. The new build, with build numbers OS1.0.0.0.1.TGDMIXM and OS1.0.0.0.1.TGDEUXM, will be released first for HyperOS Pilot Testers and will be generally available in the second quarter of 2024.

Xiaomi HyperOS will offer more customization on the lock screen with new watch styles, fonts, wallpapers and widgets. The control center will have a cleaner and more modern design compared to the previous version MIUI 14. App icons are similar, but overall consistency seems to have improved.
Another detail that attracted attention with the new version was the space Xiaomi HyperOS will occupy on phones. According to the Chinese company’s claim, the structure is 8.75 GB in size and provides a serious advantage in storage compared to its competitors.
HyperOS will consume less power compared to its predecessors and will be able to run more comfortably on less memory. This means that Xiaomi leaves an open door especially for Xiaomi’s old and hardware-deficient products.
