Call of Duty Black Ops 6 platform and release date
Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, Black Ops 6 will take the series back to the Cold War era of the 1990s with a spy-thriller campaign. According to the developer, the single-player story will take place against the backdrop of the fall of the Soviet Union and the rise of the United States as a superpower.
It will tell a fictional story with real-world events. It was stated that there will be dynamic missions, high-risk robberies and secret espionage activities in Black Ops 6. In this context, it was stated that the game will offer a cinematic experience.
On the multiplayer side, Black Ops 6 will mirror other Call of Duty games. There will be 16 new maps for 6v6 matches. Popular game modes such as competitive multiplayer and turn-based zombie co-op will also return in Black Ops 6.
After launch, additional maps and characters will be available, along with many updates. Microsoft also emphasized that the game will not be exclusive to Xbox. In this context, Game Pass will be available for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 on October 25.
The pre-order process will start soon. Players with this package will get early access to the open beta test. It will also have cross-platform support.
