Canva has announced its most comprehensive update to generative AI. The Visual Suite 2.0 suite, introduced at the Canva Create 2025 event, adds a wealth of AI features to the platform’s visual editing tools that can be used with voice commands.
Canva introduces new AI features
With this update, Canva has taken its automation capabilities in content production to the next level. At the heart of Visual Suite 2.0, Canva AI allows users to manage the entire production process with just voice commands.
This allows text writing, image editing, presentation creation, and content resizing to be triggered by voice. The photo editor has also been redesigned with AI support. Operations such as changing the background, deleting specific objects with millimeter precision, and creating realistic montages based on lighting adjustments deliver studio-quality results.
New features include Canva Code, which allows you to create forms, calculators, and interactive flash cards without requiring any coding knowledge. The Magic Charts tool automatically transforms complex data sets into visual presentations.
Canva Spreadsheets goes beyond traditional spreadsheet tools by analyzing data with AI and creating smart charts. The improved Magic Studio enables large-scale content production by managing text, visuals and presentation production in an integrated manner.
Another important feature added to the platform is the Visual Workset. This tool allows documents, presentations and websites to be created within the same editor. However, many of the features in the new package will be offered as a paid subscription.
