The Xbox Series X, which was released at The Game Awards event in 2019, is Microsoft’s most powerful gaming console to date. It appears that the company is currently working on refreshed versions of its existing game consoles. Recently leaked documents from the FTC reveal a new Xbox Series X console with no disc drive and a completely different design.
What will the renewed Xbox Series X/S offer?
Documents sent from Microsoft to the FTC that contain details about the design and features of the refreshed Xbox Series S/X consoles have been leaked. At this point, it can be said that there are no changes in the appearance of the smallest console, the Series S, while things have taken a completely different direction for the Series X.

The device, which will come with a 6 nm architecture, will also feature connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
The prices of the game consoles have also been revealed. According to the FTC documents, the Series X will be priced at $499, while the budget-friendly Series S will be sold for $299. It is not yet clear when the products will be officially unveiled, but according to rumors, they will be introduced in 2024.
