Samsung, one of the leading players in the smartphone market, is set to unveil the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series in early 2025. Numerous reports have surfaced regarding the models, leaving little uncertainty about what to expect. The latest developments shed light on the series’ charging speeds.

Ahead of its launch, the Galaxy S25 series has been spotted on the FCC database. According to the listing, the models will feature 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, GNSS, and dual-band Wi-Fi. The standard model will support 25W charging, while the Plus and Ultra variants will have 45W charging speeds.

When compared to its predecessors, the Galaxy S25 series appears to retain the same charging speeds. Interestingly, reports suggest that wireless charging speeds may drop from 15W to 9W, though the reason behind this change remains unclear.

The Galaxy S25 Plus recently surfaced on Geekbench 6 with the model number SM-S936U. It scored 3,160 points in single-core and 9,941 in multi-core tests. Notably, these results mark an improvement from the device’s September performance of 3,054 single-core and 9,224 multi-core scores.

This performance boost is attributed to the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, whose clock speed has been increased from 4.19 GHz to 4.47 GHz, showcasing Samsung’s commitment to enhancing user experience.

What are your thoughts on the Galaxy S25 series? Are there particular features or changes that excite you most?
