China continues its investments in space. Competing with the USA in this field, China has launched the second module of its ongoing space studies. The name of this space station, which is the second phase of China, is Tiangong.

According to China, the second module of the space station has been successfully completed

Consisting of three stages, Tiangong has one final step left. On Sunday, July 24, at 14:22. A Long March 5B rocket took off from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in Hainan, local time, Reuters reported. The rocket was carrying the Wentian lab module, which will join the Tianhe module launched last year. Starting in June, the Wenchang module will be received by its 14-person team.

The installation will begin after receiving. The first of these crew handovers will likely occur in December this year when the Shenzhou-15 crew arrives before the Shenzhou-14 crew departs.

Accordingly, China’s state broadcaster CCTV made statements about the launch. According to the reports, the second space station module resulted in success. The module was 18 meters long and weighed. It is expected to reach the Tiangong space station 13 hours after launch.

CCTV announced that the module will serve multiple uses; some of these were explained as navigation, directional controls, and scientific purposes in general. It is said that the module also includes a robotic arm for the movement of loads outside the station. It is known that the space station is prepared for China’s long-term plans. According to these plans, in line with space.com’s statements, it will be used at the Tiangong station for many years to benefit Chinese and foreign astronauts and even space tourists.

Although the Chinese space station continues to work at full speed, neither does the USA. What will happen shortly when the two superpowers meet in this space rivalry? Please share with us in the comments.
