Apple’s iPhone 15 series has been a significant talking point since its introduction, both in terms of features and design. However, since the series became available for sale, iPhone 15 users have been facing unexpected problems.
We previously mentioned that the iPhone 15 series was prone to overheating. Additionally, we reported on a case where the battery of an iPhone 15 Pro model had swollen. To add to these problems, a new issue has emerged, this time related to the USB-C connection port.
According to recent allegations, it has come to light that some power bank models are not compatible with these models. As a result, the models are transferring energy to the external battery instead of charging from the power banks.
Complaints from some users have also been received regarding this issue. This indicates that the reverse wired charging feature in the iPhone 15 series does not always work as intended. In short, not all USB-C-connected power bank models are compatible with all iPhone 15 models.
It has been reported that the iPhone 15, particularly the Anker PowerCore Slim 10K PD model, is facing issues. Following this, the manufacturer made a statement in which they explained that the only way for the external battery to charge the iPhone is by using the USB-A port.
