Copper PC case cools 250W systems with zero fans

Ana sayfa / News

A new copper PC case has surfaced, offering silent cooling for mid-range gaming rigs, no fans required.

Known as the FanlessVC2300S DT, this case ditches all active cooling in favor of solid copper engineering. It measures 36 x 30.3 x 13 cm and weighs a hefty 21.5 kilograms in its copper variant. That weight drops to 11.2 kg if you opt for the aluminum version instead.

Despite the size and mass, it’s still considered compact. But don’t expect portability; this thing is built like a brick for a reason.

Geekom A9 Mega mini-PC launches with Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and 128 GB RAM

Geekom launches the A9 Mega mini-PC globally with AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 128 GB RAM, dual Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 7, starting at $1,899.

The design revolves around heat transfer. The processor’s heat moves through 17 copper heat pipes, each 8 mm thick. For the GPU, three vapor chambers draw the waste heat out and push it to copper fins positioned on all four sides of the chassis.

This passive setup supports up to 250 watts of combined heat, enough to power a quiet mid-tier gaming PC. Aside from the PSU fan, the system stays completely silent.

Here’s what the case supports:

While that’s not ultra high-end, it’s solid for gamers who value silence over max performance.

At the moment, only the aluminum version is listed at 1,760 yuan (roughly $247) on Taobao. There’s no confirmed price for the copper edition, nor is there word on global sales just yet.

With a dense copper frame and vapor chamber engineering, this isn’t just another silent build; it’s a statement piece. Heavy, focused, and completely fanless.
