Subscription services such as Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus have gained momentum recently. In our country, there is a great interest in subscriptions against the increasing exchange rate. However, an unexpected statement came from Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games. Did subscription plans for GTA 6 fall through?

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has announced that the company will not pursue a subscription model for its biggest game franchises. This means that the company’s beloved titles, especially GTA 6, will not be added to services like Xbox Game Pass.

In a recent interview, Zelnick was asked about the impact of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War being released on Game Pass. Zelnick acknowledged that it could boost short-term subscriber growth. However, he said that Take-Two does not support subscriptions.

New Details on the Budget-Friendly Galaxy A06 Model!

The entry-level Samsung Galaxy A06 is set to be both budget-friendly, stylish, and high-performing. Here are the details...

“Our decisions are rational. We continue to believe that premium pre-sales are the best way to recoup significant development budgets and marketing spend for our biggest franchises.”

Take-Two, which owns 2K and Rockstar Games, is distributing Grand Theft Auto 6 and many other games such as Borderlands, Civilization and Mafia. Zelnick reiterated that none of these anticipated titles will be coming to services like Game Pass or PlayStation Plus.

Take-Two, which owns billion-dollar franchises like GTA and Red Dead, is quite clear why it doesn’t prefer subscriptions like Game Pass. The company aims to maximize sales revenue by keeping its high-end games away from subscriptions.
