Countdown for Galaxy S25: Its processor will surprise you!

Ana sayfa / Smartphones

The countdown for the introduction of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series, expected next year, has begun. Recently, a new development regarding the series has emerged, especially amidst claims that production issues are arising due to the Exynos 2500 chip’s 3nm efficiency falling below expectations.

On September 26, Google DeepMind announced that MediaTek has been developing its most advanced chips using AlphaChip technology. The announcement even mentioned, “like the Dimensity flagship 5G chip used in Samsung phones.”

As is well known, MediaTek’s current flagship processors are led by the Dimensity 9000 series. However, Samsung has never used a Dimensity 9000 series chipset in its flagship devices. If there is no error in the statement, it’s possible that the upcoming Galaxy S25 and S25+ models could launch globally with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor.

Until now, Samsung has used Snapdragon and its in-house Exynos processors for its flagship models. If the latest claim turns out to be true, this could change with the Galaxy S25 series. Due to the production issues with the Exynos 2500 and similar problems in the past, the company might have been led to make such a decision.

This collaboration between Samsung and MediaTek is not new. In fact, the South Korean manufacturer previously used the Dimensity 9300+ chipset in its Galaxy Tab S10 series tablets.
