Reports continue to emerge about the OnePlus 15, which is expected to be unveiled in October. While the first details about the smartphone were shared recently, today’s leaks clarify the questions surrounding its camera system.
OnePlus 15 Camera Specifications Revealed
Renowned industry leaker Digital Chat Station has unveiled key details about the OnePlus 15’s camera setup. According to the report, the Chinese brand is testing a triple 50 MP camera configuration on the device.
The camera system is said to include a main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
In addition, earlier reports from the same source suggest that the smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPO display with 1.5K resolution. Compared to the curved 2K display found on the OnePlus 13, this new panel will be wider and have more rounded corners, giving the device a front design that visually resembles recent iPhone models.
The OnePlus 15 will also utilize LIPO packaging technology, enabling ultra-thin bezels and a more balanced front surface. The design will focus on lightness and minimalism, aiming for an edge-to-edge display that, as mentioned, closely mimics the aesthetic of Apple’s latest offerings.
Expected to adopt a clean and lightweight design, the OnePlus 15 will likely be equipped with a large battery exceeding 6,500 mAh. Lastly, it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (also referred to as Snapdragon 8 Elite 2) chipset.
