POCO F6 features and potential launch date
As it is known, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro was released recently and became the first phone powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Of course, this is valid for the Chinese market, and we have not yet seen a device coming into the global market with the new chip.
If we look at the post made by POCO Global manager David Liu, the first phone to use Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 globally will be released by Xiaomi: POCO F6. In fact, according to Xiaomiui‘s report, the smartphone will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, which will be introduced in China soon. Although the designs of the two phones are different, their technical specifications will be exactly the same.
New chip: It has a Cortex-X4 main running at 3.01GHz, four Cortex-A720 performance cores running at 2.8GHz, and three Cortex-A520 efficiency cores running at 1.84GHz. However, we should point out that it is produced using TSMC’s 4 nm fabrication process.
There is no official launch date for the POCO F6 model yet. However, considering that its predecessor was showcased in May last year, we can say that a similar promotional schedule will be adopted for the new model.
