Xiaomi recently released the highly anticipated K70 series, which reportedly sold over 600,000 units in just five minutes. It seems that an Ultra model will soon be added to this series. The latest technical details about the Redmi K70 Ultra have also emerged. Here are the features and potential unveiling date!
Redmi K70 Ultra features
Digital Chat Station, known for leaking information in the industry, revealed new details about the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra model. According to the leaks, the phone will feature a 1.5K resolution 8T LTPO OLED display with a brightness of 5,000 nits.
The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. Manufactured using a 4nm architecture, the chipset will host 1x 3.25 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 3x 2.85 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, and 4x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, along with an Immortalis-G720 MC12 graphics unit.
Additionally, the model will offer up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM options. It’s worth noting that the only models currently featuring LPDDR5T technology are the Vivo X100 series, and they are available with a maximum of 16 GB of RAM. This suggests that the Redmi K70 Ultra will set a new standard in terms of memory. Finally, the product is expected to have IP68 certification, just like its predecessor, and come with 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
The Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to follow a similar unveiling schedule to its predecessor. Unless there is a surprise, this indicates that it will be introduced in the summer months. It’s worth mentioning that August seems to be a suitable timeframe for this launch.
