Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Pad 2 on June 5, 2025. Ahead of the launch, the company has shared promotional images of the tablet, including its design and some technical specifications. The tablet will come with an 11-inch 2.5K resolution IPS LCD display. The panel will also offer a 90 Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness. The tablet, which has a smaller body compared to the Redmi Pad Pro, was developed for media-focused use.
The countdown for the Redmi Pad 2 has officially begun
The Redmi Pad 2 will have four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. It will also be powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra processor and will offer 4G connectivity support. The device will be available with up to 8 GB of RAM options.
In Europe, only the 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version with Wi-Fi support was listed with a price tag of 199 euros. The price of the version with 4G support, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will be around 299 euros.
The device will be available in Mint Green and Black/Gray color options. It will come with an 8 Megapixel camera on the back and a 5 Megapixel camera on the front. However, we can say that its 9000 mAh battery will have 18W wired charging support.
The device will have an Android 15-based HyperOS interface, Circle to Search feature, microSD card slot and headphone jack. Finally, we can say that it received 400,000 points in AnTuTu tests and performed successfully in popular mobile games such as Asphalt 9 and Call of Duty.
