vivo has accelerated its efforts for smartphones that will appeal to the upper level. New allegations from China have revealed the launch date of the vivo X200 series. With the launch in mid-October, three models powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 will be unveiled.
vivo X200 series may be introduced in October
vivo is preparing to unveil its X200 series flagship models in the third week of October. The launch event for the X200 series could take place on October 14, 15 or 16. The series is expected to include three models, the X200, X200+ and X200 Pro.
All models in the vivo X200 series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. The successor to the Dimensity 9300, the Dimensity 9400 promises a 30 percent improvement in CPU performance.
With its flagship features, the vivo X200 looks like it will exceed expectations in the smartphone market. The new devices will be equipped with a 1.5K resolution screen, a main camera with a large sensor with a resolution of 50MP and a macro telephoto camera with a 70mm 3x optical zoom periscope lens.
Of course, vivo is not the only company preparing to announce new flagship phones with Dimensity 9400. Oppo’s Find X8 series, which includes the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, may also be unveiled in October. During this period, vivo and Oppo will face competition from the Xiaomi 8 series, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 15 Gen 4 chipset.
