Google continues to solidify its position in the smartphone market, and the affordable Pixel 9a is reportedly in the works. Expected to launch in March, what exactly can we anticipate from this new model?
What Will the Google Pixel 9a Offer?
The Google Pixel 9a is set to feature a 6.3-inch Actua display supporting an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 60 Hz to 120 Hz. It will be powered by the Tensor G4 processor, paired with 8 GB of RAM, and come with either 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. A 5,000 mAh battery will support 18W wired and 7.5W wireless charging speeds.
On the camera front, the phone is expected to include a 48 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13 MP selfie camera. The starting price is rumored to be around $499.
Recent leaks have revealed an all-new design for the Pixel 9a. Unlike its predecessors, which featured a horizontal camera bar on the back, this model will reportedly have a pill-shaped camera module located in the top-left corner. The front design is expected to remain unchanged.
