A few weeks ago, Samsung announced the October 2024 security patch, which has already rolled out to devices like the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy Note 20 series. Following updates to many smartphone models, the October 2024 security update is now reaching Galaxy Tab S8 devices in several countries across Asia, North America, and Europe.
New Galaxy Tab S8 Update Now Available in Turkey
The update is available for Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra in Turkey, Canada, South Korea, China, the UAE, Europe, Hong Kong, India, and Taiwan, with firmware versions X700XXS8CXJ7, X800XXS8CXJ7, and X900XXS8CXJ7.
Samsung’s security blog details that the October 2024 security patch addresses 42 vulnerabilities affecting Galaxy smartphones and tablets in South Korea. Given the critical and high-risk flaws identified, this update is deemed highly important.
