Last month, the card game Balatro, which debuted for Android and iOS after a stellar success on PC, delighted fans with the release of Cyberpunk 2077 content. Like the first update, this one is also available free of charge for all Balatro players. Here are the details and what you need to know…
Cyberpunk 2077, Stardew Valley, and More for Balatro…
One of the most talked-about addictive games recently, Balatro continues to engage players with new content. The “Friends of Jimbo 2” pack brings cosmetic cards inspired by Cyberpunk 2077, Stardew Valley, and other popular games.
Developed by Playstack and LocalThunk, the poker-themed roguelike game Balatro has enjoyed significant success since its launch. The game has only grown in popularity with its mobile release, and now it continues to bring joy to its players with a free content update.
Inspired by fan-favorites like Cyberpunk 2077, Slay the Spire, The Binding of Isaac, and Stardew Valley, these new cards add visual variety to players’ collections. It’s worth noting: the new pack only offers cosmetic changes, with no impact on gameplay mechanics.
Previously, Balatro has added cards inspired by popular games like The Witcher, Among Us, Vampire Survivors, and Dave the Diver, bringing some of the most beloved characters in gaming together.
In Balatro, which combines poker mechanics with the roguelike genre, players create powerful combinations using Joker cards in addition to regular poker hands. They progress by earning chips and discover secret bonus hands in preparation for facing the final boss.
