Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Limited Edition Preorders Are Back Ahead of Launch

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is gearing up for its official launch on September 5, and if you missed out on the Limited Edition earlier this summer, good news. Preorders for the $100 collector’s set have been restocked at Amazon and Walmart, just days before release on PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The Titanic Scion Limited Edition had been sold out for months at major retailers. Now, with less than a week to go before launch, it’s finally back in stock. The bundle is available for all three console platforms and offers a pile of physical goodies for just $30 more than the standard $70 edition.

Here’s what’s included in the Limited Edition:

Considering the content, the added $30 feels like a solid value, especially with collector sets like Guardians of Azuma’s Earth Dancer Edition already off most shelves.

Blizzard Sues Turtle WoW Devs Over Use of Art, Code, and Trademarks

Blizzard sues Turtle WoW devs for using official art, code, and trademarks—after the fan-run server hit 44,000 concurrent players.

Titanic Scion’s Switch 2 edition includes the full game on the cartridge, avoiding the 22.9GB install that would otherwise eat nearly 10% of the handheld’s onboard storage. That alone makes the physical version a smart pickup for digital minimalists or players with limited space.

Unlike Marvelous’ earlier games like Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, this entry will not be available on the original Switch.

As of today, these editions are live:

Digital editions are also available on Steam, the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Switch eShop, starting at $70. Preorders for those versions come with bonus items like the Bahamut Arsenal Skin, Beguiling Suit, and Victorious Gleam Laser Sword.

Titanic Scion is a sequel to the 2019 original Daemon X Machina, but it’s set 300 years later. That means newcomers can jump in without worrying about prior lore, though returning players might catch a few hidden nods.

Marvelous says the new game includes:

The original game is still available digitally for $60, though physical editions are rare. PC players can grab it cheaper on Fanatical, where it’s currently listed at $42.49 with a promo code.

Marvelous has made a point of offering true physical editions with full games on-card for Switch 2. That’s becoming rare, especially with many third-party releases opting for Game-Key Cards, essentially physical license keys that still require full downloads.

If you’re short on space, the Titanic Scion Limited Edition isn’t just a collector’s item; it’s a practical one, too.
