The long-awaited statement for Daredevil: Born Again!
According to the information announced, Marvel’s new series Daredevil: Born Again will be released on Disney+ screens on March 4, 2025. The highly anticipated series will meet its audience with a 9-episode season.
Charlie Cox, the successful actor who plays the character Daredevil (Matt Murdock) in the series, expressed his excitement for the series in a statement he made at the New York Comic-Con event, adding that he would be happy to see his character’s costume have the iconic “DD” chest logo from the comics: “I think the color of the costume in this new series is very cool, it’s a really great Daredevil red. I hope to be Daredevil DD one day.
It was also confirmed that the series will have a TV-MA rating (not recommended for children under 17). You can check out the short video of the panel below, as well as the new costume and trailer of Hell’s Kitchen Devil:
Punisher screenwriter Dario Scardapane will join the team as the new showrunner of the project. The new story of the series is still unclear. However, we know that in Born Again, Matt Murdock/Daredevil will face off against his old enemy Kingpin, whom we saw racing towards New York in Echo’s season finale. It seems likely that Fisk will run for mayor of New York.
Cox and D’Onofrio will be joined by Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson). Jon Bernthal will also reprise his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher, and Wilson Bethel will reprise his role as the villain Bullseye. Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Nikki M. James, Michael Gaston, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Lou Taylor Pucci and Hunter Doohan will also appear in supporting roles.
