The Battlefield 6 beta may be over, but speculation is only heating up. While players continue to debate the beta’s smaller maps, a new datamine has given fans a possible glimpse at the much-teased “large” maps promised by DICE.
Battlefield 6 Beta Feedback Sparks Curiosity
Many players left the beta wanting more of the franchise’s signature large-scale warfare. DICE has reassured fans that “large maps exist,” with producer David Sirland even pointing to Battlefield 3 and 4 as examples of what to expect.
Dataminer Drops Alleged Map Screenshots
Over the weekend, Reddit user Happysufigeee uploaded (and later deleted) screenshots they claimed were pulled from an early build of Battlefield 6. According to MP1st, the images were quickly shared across the community before being rehosted on Imgur.
The screenshots appear to show 3D exports of two unreleased maps:
- Mirak Valley — previously revealed by EA as the biggest map in the game.
- Eastwood — reportedly set in California, which could tie into Battlefield 6’s upcoming battle royale mode.
What It Could Mean for Battlefield 6
If genuine, the images suggest that Battlefield 6’s “large” maps will live up to the name, addressing concerns about scale and variety. However, it’s unclear whether these assets come from the beta itself or an entirely different build of the game.
As with all leaks, fans should take these images with caution until EA or DICE provides official confirmation. Still, the datamine has reignited excitement among players eager for classic, large-scale Battlefield action.
