The first trailer for Death Stranding 2 was released last night. There was also an element in the trailer that will attract the attention of Turkish players. A Turk, Fatih Akın, is taking part in Death Stranding 2!
Turkish actor and director Fatih Akın is in Death Stranding 2!
At Sony’s State of Play 2024 event, a long trailer for Hideo Kojima’s new game Death Stranding 2 was released. This 10-minute trailer features gameplay.
But the most interesting part is the name on the game’s poster: Fatih Akın. Turkish actor and director Akın is officially featured in Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. Even a poster of his character in the game has been released.
The character played by Fatih Akın will serve the same function as Mimir from the revamped God of War series. He will be our companion as we navigate the map. The character will be voiced by Jonathan Roumie.
The 50-year-old Turkish director, screenwriter, producer and actor Fatih Akin has won numerous awards including the Golden Bear and the German Film Award for Best Film. His popular films include Soul Kitchen, Head-On, The Edge of Heaven and Paramparça.
