HMD, also known as the current owner of the Nokia brand, is preparing to come up with a new smartphone. A social media user named “smashx_60” has revealed details about a new interim model of the HMD brand codenamed “Orka”.

Based on the leak, HMD Orka will adopt a vibrant design and promises to bring interesting features. The leak revealed the first images of the phone and showed us its technical details, including a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

HMD’s new device will have a more traditional format compared to the company’s recently launched HMD Skyline. The leaked images show colors like blue, green and purple on the back. This gives the device a unique look.

The HMD Orka model brings a 108-megapixel main sensor on the back. This technical detail is confirmed by the inscription on the camera module. The secondary sensor is supposed to be ultra-wide or macro.

For selfies and video calls, the device will have a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture that will provide clear and crisp photos. It’s worth remembering that the HMD Skyline has a front sensor with the same resolution.

HMD Orka specs include a 6.78-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. This is a slight decrease compared to the Skyline’s 6.55-inch OLED display.

The highly anticipated new device is expected to feature 5G connectivity and a Qualcomm chipset with 8 GB of RAM. The battery capacity of the model has not yet been announced. But sources talk about 33W charging via USB-C.
