With less than a month to go until Apple’s highly anticipated September event, speculation is rife about the new devices that will be unveiled. While the exact lineup has not been officially confirmed, leaks suggest that we can expect a range of new products, from the iPhone 16 series to the AirPods 4. Here’s a look at what might be announced.
iPhone 16 Series
The iPhone 16 series is expected to be the highlight of the event. Major changes are anticipated, with the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus maintaining last year’s screen sizes, while the 16 Pro and Pro Max models will see an increase in size to 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively. All models are likely to feature the A18 Pro processor and Apple Intelligence capabilities. Significant camera upgrades are also rumored.
AirPods 4 and AirPods Max 2
Apple is expected to introduce two new models of AirPods 4: a more affordable version and a premium version with advanced features. The AirPods 2 and 3 may be discontinued. The AirPods Max 2 is anticipated to switch from Lightning to USB-C and include features such as Adaptive Sound, Speech Detection, and Personalized Audio.
Apple Watch 10 Series and Watch Ultra 3
The new Apple Watch 10 series is likely to come in larger sizes, with the smallest model matching the current largest size. The Watch 10 series and Watch Ultra 3 are expected to feature new processors and improvements in Apple Intelligence.
M4 Macs
The M4 chip, first seen in the iPad Pro, is expected to debut in new MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac models. Minor design changes for the Mac mini and MacBook Pro may also be on the horizon.
iPad mini 7 and 11th Gen iPad
After not being updated since 2021, the iPad mini is expected to see a significant refresh. The iPad mini 7 and 11th Gen iPad are rumored to feature more powerful processors and enhancements to Apple Pencil support.
