According to him, Apple, which has been working with Sony on camera sensors for a long time, will end this agreement for the iPhone 18 series, expected to be announced and released in 2026.
According to Kuo, Apple has made a deal with Samsung, the South Korean tech giant and one of its biggest rivals in the smartphone market. Samsung is very close to becoming the producer of the ultra-wide-angle CMOS image sensor to be used in the iPhone 18.
