MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ is in the pipeline. Taiwanese semiconductor company MediaTek is set to launch its latest and most powerful chipset, the Dimensity 9200. Digital Chat Station claims that the company has been teasing this upcoming launch for a while now, and it is expected to be announced in the coming periods.
MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ is around the corner, the report says
Dimensity 9200+ is said to be MediaTek‘s flagship chipset, designed for use in high-end smartphones and other devices. It will reportedly be built on a 4nm manufacturing process, allowing for improved power efficiency and faster processing speeds. The latest reports claim that the upcoming chipset will be an upscaled version of Dimensity 9200. At this point, probably increased CPU frequencies will say hi to us.
The current version has an octa-core architecture, with a fast Cortex-X2 core clocked up to 3 GHz, three A710 cores up to 2.85 GHz, and four power-efficient Cortex-A510 cores up to 1.8 GHz. It also features an Immortalis-G715 GPU for graphics. Considering this information, it’s logical to assume that the Dimensity 9200+ will also utilize a 1+3+4 architecture, with the super-large core operating at a frequency exceeding 3.05GHz as the main frequency.
Digital Chat Station also says the upcoming chipset includes a 5G modem supporting sub-6 GHz and mmWave frequencies. This will enable users to use the new 5G networks, which offer faster download and upload speeds, lower latency, and improved network reliability.
