Discord’s update that will make free users angry!

Ana sayfa / Games

Discord continues to restrict its free features to attract users to Nitro membership. The popular messaging app recently lowered the file upload limit for free users. Accordingly, those without a Nitro account will be able to upload files of up to 10 MB.

Discord has made a change to its file upload policies that will upset many users. In April, the company increased the maximum file size for free users from 8MB to 25MB. However, a few days ago, it lowered this limit again. Now users will be able to upload files up to 10MB.

Discord said the move was necessary to better manage its storage infrastructure and costs. Many users believe that this change was made to drive users to a paid Nitro subscription, rather than out of technical necessity.

This game came out for PlayStation 2 years later!

The Last Job, developed for PlayStation 2, has been released years later. Why was the action-adventure canceled?

Discord argues that with billions of files uploaded every day, unlimited storage costs for everyone are unsustainable. It should be noted that the Nitro package, which can be purchased for 104.99 TL per month, can increase the limit up to 500MB.

“Unlike other platforms, we keep your files for as long as you need them, so it’s important that we manage our storage sustainably. If you need more upload capacity, Nitro Basic offers a 50 MB limit and Nitro gives you up to 500 MB.”
