DJI Avata 360 leak teases 360-degree drone right behind A1 launch

Ana sayfa / News

Hot on the heels of Antigravity’s A1 debut, DJI appears to be circling in with its own 360-degree drone. Leaked retail packaging has surfaced online, hinting that the DJI Avata 360 might be closer to launch than many expected.

The Avata 360’s name isn’t a rumor anymore. Igor Bogdanov recently shared promotional images that clearly display DJI’s branding alongside “Avata 360” on what appears to be official retail packaging. These leaks tend to pop up shortly before DJI pushes new hardware into the wild just like with the Avata 2 and Mini 5 Pro.

Now, seeing boxed units show up suggests DJI has already started distribution, at least for influencer previews or early testing. That lines up with talk of a possible release window before the end of December.

Oppo A6L debuts in China with a 120 Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, and massive 7,000 mAh battery.

Antigravity may have drawn first blood with the A1, which offers built-in 360-degree video capture. But DJI’s rumored Avata 360 would be the company’s first step into the same space something enthusiasts have long anticipated.

Until now, DJI focused heavily on traditional FPV and camera drones. If this leak holds up, the Avata 360 will push the brand into immersive aerial content spherical footage, VR experiences, and dynamic camera control, all built into one rig.

The image circulating among X accounts shows clear DJI branding and a sleek Avata 360 logo. However, much of the packaging’s details remain blurred or obscured likely a move to prevent DJI from tracing the leak’s origin. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s emerging:

Still, caution is warranted. These leaks could be manipulated or faked, and with no specs or video footage to back them up, it’s smart to keep expectations in check.

DJI hasn’t officially confirmed anything, but if the leaks are real and the timeline holds we could see the Avata 360 drop before Christmas. That would give DJI a chance to challenge Antigravity A1 just as the category starts heating up.

Timing is tight, but DJI moves fast when it wants to dominate. The sky might get crowded before the year is out.
